Welcome to Coastal Lighting ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, including any purchases made through the site. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

By using this website, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Product Information

We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, specifications, images, dimensions, finishes, pricing, and availability are accurate. However, errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may occur.

Product images are intended for illustrative purposes only. Actual colors, finishes, and appearances may vary due to lighting, screen settings, and manufacturing variations.

3. Pricing and Website Errors

We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.

If a product is listed at an incorrect price or contains incorrect information due to typographical errors, technical issues, supplier information, or other reasons, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for that product, regardless of whether the order has been confirmed or payment has been processed.

If your payment has already been processed for an order that is canceled due to a pricing or information error, we will issue a full refund to your original method of payment.

We are under no obligation to honor incorrect prices, promotions, discounts, or other errors displayed on our website.

4. Order Acceptance

Submission of an order does not constitute acceptance of that order. All orders are subject to review and acceptance by us.

An order is considered accepted only when it has been processed and shipped.

We reserve the right to refuse or limit any order at our sole discretion.

5. Order Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel any order, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Product unavailability

• Pricing or listing errors

• Suspected fraud

• Payment authorization issues

• Shipping restrictions

• Inventory discrepancies

• Compliance with applicable laws

• Any other reason deemed appropriate by the Company

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method.

6. Customer Cancellations

Requests to cancel or modify an order are not guaranteed. Once an order has entered processing or production, it may not be possible to cancel or modify it.

Custom, special-order, or made-to-order products may not be canceled or returned once production has begun unless otherwise required by law.

7. Payment

Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to refuse any order if payment authorization cannot be obtained.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping estimates are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed.

Delivery dates are estimates and are subject to carrier delays, weather conditions, supply chain disruptions, and other events beyond our control.

Risk of loss and title pass to the customer upon delivery to the shipping carrier, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

9. Inspection of Goods

Customers should inspect all shipments upon delivery. Any visible shipping damage or missing items should be reported promptly.

Claims for concealed damage or shortages should be reported within 3 days of delivery.

10. Returns

Returns are subject to our Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Certain products, including custom or special-order items, may not be eligible for return.

11. Warranty

Products may be covered by a manufacturer's warranty or a Company warranty where applicable.

Except as expressly stated, products are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of Liability 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability arising out of or relating to any purchase or use of the website shall not exceed the amount paid for the applicable order.

We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including lost profits, loss of business, or loss of data.

13. Freight Forwarder and Subsequent Shipment Fees

Once an order has been delivered to the shipping address provided by the customer at the time of purchase, our company is no longer responsible for any additional shipping, freight, customs, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, handling charges, storage fees, or other costs incurred as a result of the customer subsequently transporting, forwarding, or redirecting the product to another location.

This includes, but is not limited to, orders shipped to a freight forwarder, consolidator, warehouse, forwarding service, or other third party designated by the customer. Any costs or fees assessed by the freight forwarder, carrier, customs authority, government agency, or other third party after delivery to the original order shipping address are the sole responsibility of the customer.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the product can be legally and safely transported from the original shipping address to its final destination and for all costs associated with such transportation. This includes any customs duties, import fees, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country or jurisdiction.

Delivery to the Original Shipping Address

For purposes of our shipping obligations, delivery is considered complete when the product has been delivered to the shipping address provided by the customer with the order. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, delay, customs issue, or additional expense that occurs after delivery to that address when the product is subsequently transported by a freight forwarder or other third party arranged by or on behalf of the customer.

By providing a shipping address that is a freight forwarder or other intermediary, or by arranging for the product to be forwarded after delivery, the customer acknowledges and accepts responsibility for all subsequent transportation, customs, and related costs and risks.

14. Installation, Removal, and Re-Instillation Fees

Our company is not responsible for any costs or fees associated with the installation, removal, inspection, repair, replacement, or re-installation of a product, including when a product is determined to be defective or requires replacement under our warranty or return policy.

If a product is defective and requires removal and/or replacement, the customer is solely responsible for all labor and related expenses incurred in connection with the removal of the defective product, preparation for replacement, installation of the replacement product, and any subsequent re-installation.

These costs may include, but are not limited to, electrician or contractor labor, installation fees, removal fees, re-installation fees, service-call charges, travel expenses, inspection fees, disposal fees, and any other related labor or service costs.

Replacement of a defective product, repair, refund, or other remedy provided by our company does not include reimbursement for installation, removal, or re-installation costs unless expressly agreed to in writing by our company.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are installed, removed, and re-installed by appropriately qualified professionals and in accordance with all applicable building codes, electrical requirements, manufacturer instructions, and local regulations.

By purchasing or accepting delivery of a product, the customer acknowledges that any installation, removal, and re-installation costs are separate from the purchase price of the product and remain the customer's responsibility, including in the event that the product is found to be defective.

15. Disclaimer 

This website and its content are provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, except as required by law.

16. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, product descriptions, software, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to the Company and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written permission.

17. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose.

• Interfere with website functionality or security.

• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems.

• Use automated methods to scrape or collect data without permission.
